About Kufic Script: Kufic is the oldest calligraphic form of the various Arabic and old Syrian script. At the time of the emergence of Islam this type of script was already in use in various parts of the Arabian Peninsula. First copies of the Qur’an were written in this script.

About Urdu: ScriptUrdu is an Indo-Aryan language with about 104 million speakers, including those who speak it as a second language. Urdu is a Turkish word mean “foreign” or “horde”. It is the national language of Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Lot of Urdu vocabulary comes from Persian and Arabic. It has been written with a version of the Perso-Arabic script since 12th century and is normally written in Nastaliq style.
